WILDCAT’S

THE

DEN

    • While the bulk of the school community attends MissionQuest Kickoff meetings from 1:50 pm –2:20 pm on Monday, March 30, seniors will be dismissed at 1:50 pm. Happy Spring!

    • Lenten Prayer Service at SJA - Wednesday, April 1 (adjusted bell schedule)

    • Spring Uniform | Spring uniform starting March 23.

  • Easter Break

Wishing all members of the SJA community a joyful and blessed Easter break, which runs from April 2nd thru April 6th.

As we enter this sacred season, we are reminded of the profound hope and renewal found in the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. Easter invites us to reflect on the promise of new life, the power of faith, and the enduring message of love and sacrifice at the heart of our Catholic tradition.

This time of year offers a meaningful opportunity to pause, recharge, and reconnect with loved ones and with our faith. In the spirit of the season, may you find moments for prayer, reflection, and gratitude, and carry forward a renewed sense of purpose and compassion.

As spring unfolds around us, it mirrors the beauty of Easter: a season of growth, light, and new beginnings. May this Easter break bring you peace and time to celebrate the blessings in your life.

Wishing you and your families a wonderful Easter!

    MissionQuest

MissionQuest Kickoff meetings will take place on Monday, 3/30, and we can’t wait to see the excitement for these experiences!

Students will receive two important forms at the meeting, due back to the lead chaperone by April 8. Here are the links to the forms, in case they don’t make it home: Release Form and Medical Forms.

The faculty will also introduce and showcase each course, highlight key assessments, and walk through the overall grading approach as they set the stage for a fantastic experience!

A reminder that a few items are still outstanding for some students, including the Code of Conduct form, course contract, and second installment payment. If you have missing items, you received a reminder email from Mrs. Herold, and chaperones connected directly with those students to share that a final extension has been granted beyond the original March 24 deadline. Please note that all required forms and payments must be submitted to the Main Office by April 1. Otherwise, we will need to transition the student to a free course option.

Students – Save the Date! The next MissionQuest meeting will take place on April 20 and will focus on a deeper dive into your precourse assessment.

Parents - Final payments are due by April 24. Students should bring payment to Mrs. Herold in the Main Office.

Thank you for your attention to these details and for your continued support in making MissionQuest a meaningful experience for our students.

    Co-Curricular Eligibility Status

When progress reports were generated, students with one grade below 70 or two or more below 75 were emailed that they are ineligible for co-curricular activities (including clubs and prom) as well as athletics and athletic workouts (both in and out of season).

A review of the counselor attendance logs shows that some students are not following the expectations from the March 9 Academic Improvement Plan email.

As a reminder, students should meet weekly with their counselor and daily with teachers during enrichment, complete the log each day, and submit it weekly to receive a new one. Once your counselor confirms you’re meeting academic standards and have no missing work in any class, you must meet with me to review progress and determine eligibility to return to co-curricular activities.

After meeting with me, I will send an email to you, your parents, your counselor, and any relevant coaches or club moderators. This confirmation email will serve as official notice that you are eligible to return. If you have not received this confirmation email, you remain ineligible.

Thank you for your attention to and cooperation with this process.

Our “Semester Two at a Glance” calendar provides a snapshot of key academic benchmarks, major events, testing windows, and important deadlines, and continues to include live updates. A more detailed calendar is still available in RSchool for additional information.

Please Check: Student Devices & SJA Google Accounts

Students must use their SJA Google credentials to access tools like Google Meet, Docs, Slides, and Forms. We’ve shared brief instructions to help switch the default account to SJA credentials. Please take a moment to update your student’s device so they can access school resources smoothly and securely. Thank you for your support.
