A Plan of Action

At St. Joseph Academy, we believe in the importance and value of providing a solution-focused, strength-based program that empowers each student to make decisions (self-advocacy), to cope in an ever-changing world (adapt), to effectively communicate with others, and to grow into a positive member of society.

We recognize the role we play in assisting students as they plan for life after St. Joseph Academy. We believe that every student deserves to be in a positive and collaborative relationship with their counselor. In this relationship, there is open and honest communication. Through this dialogue, the student begins to understand that they do have the strength and support to make change.
