Academics
Transformational relationships and diverse coursework will stretch not just what you think, but how you think.
St. Joseph Academy is a faith based, coeducational high school focused on the core fundamentals lost in today’s society. Our programs foster integrity, moral stability, respect, leadership and acceptance of diversity.
We provide a comprehensive, rigorous, college preparatory curriculum that includes higher order thinking skills and critical analysis. To ensure success we surround our students with teachers, faculty, peers and community leaders to help showcase their strengths and support their needs and aspirations. The results are driven, self-disciplined young men and ladies who strive for excellence in everything they do.
Through purposeful experiences, a nurturing support system and endless opportunities to try new things, St. Joseph Academy provides a safe place for students to discover their passions and potential.
Summer Assignments
To support continued academic growth and prepare students for a successful upcoming school year, all St. Joseph Academy students are required to complete summer assignments in Mathematics and English. Each grade level and course has specific summer work designed to reinforce essential skills and provide a strong foundation for future coursework.
Students enrolled in Advanced Placement (AP) courses are also required to complete summer assignments. These assignments are an important component of AP-level coursework and are designed to introduce key introductory concepts and skills and to prepare students for the rigor and expectations of college-level learning.
Please review the posted summer assignment documents carefully to locate the specific requirements for your grade level and courses. All summer assignments must be completed by 8:00 a.m. on the designated orientation day for your class.
