May 6th we celebrated all of our SJA students at our Student Appreciation Day. The students began the day with a school-wide scavenger hunt, they enjoyed food, played games, and ended the day with powderpuff football!
Awards were given out to our junior and senior students who had completed Dual Credit Courses with Atlantic Cape Community College. Prizes were also given to students who showed off their school spirit and to the sophomore class who won our Poster Contest!
We are so lucky to have the most amazing students here at SJA!
Here are a few photos from the event. Enjoy!
Yesterday our students participated in a short, socially distanced service for Ash Wednesday to mark the start of Lent.
Thank you to Mrs. Vaccarella and Mrs. Morsa for preparing the prayer service and the other faculty and staff for your help and participation.
“Lent is a humble descent both inwards and towards others. It is about realizing that salvation is not an ascent to glory, but a descent in love” – Pope Francis
